Contemporary urban landscape of the interior atrium of the Brunswick Centre in London.

The abstract painting gives a cubist feel to the angles and vanishing point of a view from within the interior of the brutalist designed architecture of the Brunswick. With it’s cathedral like arches. The space has an ethereal majestic presence.

Having moved to London as a young man in the late 1980's, Mark lived just across the road from the Brunswick Centre, and shopped for groceries, and did his washing in the laundrette in the shopping area of the centre.

Oil on stretched canvas - 18” × 18”

The painting is signed on the front and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.
