Under The Influence - Soho

Contemporary abstract painting of a nocturnal Soho street in London. The artist has created an expressive use of colour and movement in the piece to convey the heightened sensory experience of walking down a rainy street after dark on a boozy night in Soho.

“The rain creates a different atmosphere on the street at night. The colour and glow reflecting off the dark wet streets is intensified and, after a drink, creates an intense kaleidoscope.”

Oil on canvas - 23” × 16”. The painting is sold unframed.

The painting is signed on the front and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.

Painted October 2026.
