Oil Painting Tuition

First Oil Painting Experience - Private Tuition

Learn to paint in oils through relaxed practical one-to-one tuition (or you and one other person). Whether you’re a complete beginner or already paint and want to improve, I’ll guide you through the process by painting alongside you and demonstrating each stage and explaining everything in an engaging supportive manner.

The tuition consists of painting a simple still life, like the image above, that uses old masters techniques to will leave you with an impressive oil painting painted by your own hand.

The lessons take place in the comfort of your home with all materials provided, and you are left with a hand painted oil painting on canvas to frame and hang on your wall.

The tuition is based on painting one artwork over three separate sessions of two hours covering the base underpainting, glazes and final details. Prices start at £60 per person for a two hour session.
