About

Born in Cornwall, Mark Wade moved to London in the late 1980's where a love affair and fascination with London and in particular, Soho was born, and now heavily influences his work. “I paint the London I know. I’ve spent years visiting Soho, whether playing drums in the clubs and venues, or drinking in the pubs. These are the places that I now paint. London after dark, with its battered corners and the neon reflecting on a dark wet road. I try to capture the nostalgia of being there.”———————————————

Mark's work has been exhibited at The Saatchi Gallery, The Royal Albert Hall, The Savoy Hotel and The Barbican, as well as various public venues around London, and in private collections all over the world.———————————————Commissions

Mark is willing to take commissions when time allows. Please send a message via the Contact page to discuss what you would like created into an artwork.
