Contemporary urban landscape of Waterloo Bridge as seen from Hungerford Bridge. The foreboding collosus of ever taller, ever sleeker shiny buildings sprouting from the ground and reaching to the sky.

The painting conveys an abstracted vision of the financial district of the City of London.

The view is one seen by the artist frequently whilst walking to or from Waterloo Station. The question asked is always, “Who owns those buildings? What reason does someone decide to invest untold finances into their design and construction? Do they even care, or is it just about power and money?”
