Contemporary urban landscape oil painting of Soho’s Dean Street as the daylight fades and the famous energy of Soho, London comes alive.

“There’s something evocative about a red phone box. All the thousands of calls made to thousands of people about thousands of different stories. Some happy, some sad. And, being just across the road from where The Colony Room drinking club was, there’s a good chance that the likes of Francis Bacon, Frank Norman, etc stepped into that box to make a call”.                 The lone figure in the painting is an homage to Soho legend, Frank Norman.
