Wardour Street Phone Box

Urban landscape painting of the unassuming corner of the red public telephone box against the wall of St. Anne's Churchyard in Wardour Street, Soho.

The stories this phone box could tell. Of prostitutes and rent boys, runaway kids and drunken tourists. There is nothing glamorous about it. Yet, the kicked in windows, graffiti, prostitute cards and discarded cigarette butts reflect the patina of Soho. Its there when you look.

Oil on canvas - 22” × 18”

Signed, and stamped on the rear of the canvas with the artist’s stamp and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.

Please note the painting is sold unframed.
