This painting is a preliminary study by the artist prior to undertaking a larger painting in oils on canvas. The study allows the artist to form an idea of the composition of the future painting, and consider the tones and colours required.

The painting is signed on the front and stamped with the artist’s stamp on the rear.  Please note the painting is sold unframed. The painting has various splashes and scuffs indicative of a working painting.
