Contemporary oil painting based on the Greek mythology of the Moon goddess, Selene falling in love with Endymion, a human on Earth.

The slightly dishevelled Endymion, stares forlornly up at the moon whilst revealing a tattoo Selene on his wrist.

The painting was inspired by the Hughes Merle painting, ‘The Lunatic of Etretat’.

Signed, and stamped on the rear of the canvas with the artist’s stamp and provided with a certificate of authenticity as the original piece of art.
