Containment 

An expressive intensely coloured painting in bright loose brush strokes depicting a nude figure laid in bed in a ‘protective cocoon’ position. The use of spontaneous brush work in non realistic colour is reminiscent of the fauvist art movement.

Oil on canvas - 23” x 18”

The painting is signed on the front and stamped on the rear of the canvas with the artist’s stamp.
